This piece captures a quatrain by the Persian poet Rumi. In it, he expresses that one who has experienced the Truth, for him there are no differences amongst the world's many faiths.

The Indo-Persian elements of the Mughal empire always appealed to me, from its architecture, art, and of course, the food.

 

Art was never restricted to just to the realm of paint and paper. Art resonates in

every aspect of my life. Art, after all, is less an activity but more so a form of living. 

When asked the question what is art?

Rabindranath Tagore so eloquently replied: 

Art is the response of man's creative soul to the Call of the Real.

The Simurgh is a Phoenix-like bird in Iranian mythology. It also has spiritual significance to the Sufi's, for example in the works of Attar.
